Modern well equipped self catering
If you are looking for self catering and a peaceful well equipped apartment don’t look further and book with the potting shed , very clean ,modern apartment .

Easter break in Hermanus
It is very close to the sea, but a bit of a drive to the nearest beach. It is also close to the industrial area, but the estate itself was safe and well looked after.

De gastvrouw was enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam toen we aankwamen. De accomodatie was super tot in de kleinste details en her uitzicht is prachtig!!

Nice property poor location
We arrived at the property, after a six hours journey from Oudsthoorn, through a South African "township" and industrial Port area to find we had mistakenly not collected the keys some 2.4 kms away. Security rang the owner Dave who gruffly muttered that we had to go to their property and why hadn't we read the instructions his wife had sent?
In truth that had been two and a half months earlier. Doreen, an extremely helpful lady, offered a drink and briefed us on the area. Meanwhile Dave wandered backwards and forwards muttering. Doreen, knowing we had already driven from the property and surrounding area, explained it was advisable that we didn't walk out at night and if we wanted to eat out we took a taxi there and back.
The property itself is fine, although the entrance to the site is in construction or modification. The house is full of signs stating what not to do otherwise you will be charged. The wi-fi is supposed to be High Speed. Complete nonsense, and with restricted use. Browsing and emails only. Downloading will mean additional cost.
Laundry facilities are promised but having used the washing machine there is nowhere to dry your clothes. A site communal washing line is available outside the laundry building or pay to use the drier.
Hermanus is a short drive away and is beautiful,plenty of good restaurants and shops, however this property is on the fringe of the "township" and within the industrial port area.

good time
We had a great stay in this self catering apartment. Obtaining key and access to property are somewhat cumbersome but apartment and is view make definitely up for it. We had a lot of fun here.
