Probably one of my worst stays ever.
We arrived late, but had called ahead to the front desk in advance and cleared it with them. Regardsless, we got a call from a "Hotels.com" representative claiming the hotel had tried to reach me and was now cancelling my reservation and charging me the full stay as "no show".
This was cleared up, but I still believe it was the hotel itself calling (as the guy on the phone and the front desk manager sounded just the same). It also seems this way, as the front desk was arguing with another guest when I arrived, saying I called ahead and he could not give them my room anymore.
Then we discovered that the room was not clean at all. Our bathtub was full of dirt and hair. Water flooded up when using the bathtub. Floors where dirty and the all over standard was poor.
When I told the front desk I wanted the room cleaned, as it was not clean upon my arrival, I was first told they didn't clean during our stay do to health regulations. They then changed this to saying they would send someone. Hours later I had to ask again and the front desk guy came and cleaned the bathtub. The rest of the room he ignored, only focused on the first thing I complained about.
Through it all, the front desk seemed unhappy to help and annoyed that we would ask for a clean room. Not once did they offer anything to compensate for the dirty room.
There was also people from a company going around seemingly spraying for bugs etc in the rooms on the lower floor.
