I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. In-house restaurant (delicious), pool overlooking the city (amazing) and the hosts couldnt have been nicer and more accommodating. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip ans recommending to others.

The house is amazing like the pictures show (Taganga).. The view from the breakfast table is spectacular. this is about 20 minutes from Santa Marta, but this is the way to do it if you are looking for peaceful place. Jean-Luc and Anita are an amazing host. They both work as a team, Jean-Luc makes delicious meals and fresh with great selection of wines.. The town doesn't offer many selections, but they make sure have a at least one or two good selections to drink and make your Meals pleasant. Breakfast fresh fruit. Midalia amazing person that served us every morning our breakfast with Anita's company. If you like to schedule any tour, make sure you ask them to help you to schedule, they know every person and you feel safe. Avoid using the Agency in Taganga that is located a block or two away from the rotonda (Taxi area), we did use and we learned later that the driver had no insurance and we could be out of coverage if anything went wrong. Walking to town from the building during the day is not bad, but during the night you want to make sure to call a taxi (host can call for you). Jean-Luc can always help you to get there faster to town. We used the motorcycle service to go back to the hotel at night, and they are safe and you enjoyed the less than 5 minutes ride experience. We also took the public transportation to Santa Marta during the day, and that was safe and we got there in less than 30 minutes. Tayrona Park is what you want to visit. I will go back!. We were greeted warmly by Ana and later by her husband Jean Luc. Their small hotel tucked up against a hillside was clean and pleasant with a nice pool and all you can eat breakfast. Jean Luc offered to drive us into town and show us around. We happened to arrive on last day of a festival so it was hopping in town despite being a Tuesday. The small bay dotted with fishing boats is lovely from afar and we enjoyed the sunset while listening to a good band and sipping a cocktail at one of the many bars along the beach. We also had a great dinner at a restaurant recommended by Jean Luc. Taganga is very poor with dirt streets and ramshackle one story cement houses. I can’t say I felt comfortable walking around town.

The property is just beautiful and the hosts are just the most welcoming and friendly couple, Jean Paul and Anna, there to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was wonderful.

Great place to experience everything the area has to offer. The pool is amazing. Great Breakfast. Jean Luc and co are fantastic hosts who will do anything to make your stay better.

Really nice owners, awesome pool with breathtaking views. Good homemade breakfast. Only problem was that there were mosquitos in the bedroom, my wife got bit even though the owners provided anti-mosquito devices for the room. But overall a nice stay. Take a taxi, the surrounding neighborhood is not great.

Well organized lovely place . The pool is amazing Jean L and Ana are super sweet and acomodating , food is delicous must try their pizza w/ fresh basil . The house has two well mannered friendly dogs - which I loved

Hotel looks like a resort. Very well taken care of, staff are extremely accommodating and will go above and beyond to make your stay amazing. Highly recommend staying there when in Taganga and Santa Marta region.

Thankyou to Jean-Luc, Ana & all of your wonderful staff for an amazing experience. The kind of people who I think of as friends, as well as amazing hosts. Your hospitality is second to none and our stay was simply incredible. I wish we could have stayed longer & if you are still in Taganga in future years then we will be returning. Gorgeous, secure location with an amazing view, spectacular food, fantastic pool, very comfortable room with fully stocked fridge (beer, Smirnoff, water, soft drink, chocolate) at excellent prices. Jean-Luc was very accommodating re: organising trip to Tayrona, recommending local spots for lunch, & any other requirements (eg laundry.) Quick taxi to Santa Marta but feels a mile away. 2 big, beautiful friendly dogs provide an additional sense of security, & great company! Stay here if you get the chance. From the booking process right until our final goodbye from the hotel, Jean-Luc and Ana were exceptional hosts. Friendly, warm, welcoming and happy to assist with anything they could. Breakfast was hearty, the dinner menu had lots of variety (fish, pasta, chicken, pizza) and when we unfortunately became ill (unrelated to this hotel), they accommodated our special food requests with a smile. Jean-Luc speaks fluent French, English and Spanish, so never a problem to communicate. He was quick to arrange any transportation we needed and assist with our trip to Tayrona National Park. The pool at the resort was large, crystal-clear and inviting. It was even big enough to swim a few laps if you wanted a bit of exercise. Mostly, just a great reprieve from the intense sun. While we were there in April 2018, temperatures reached about 40 degrees on a daily basis. If you are interested in staying in Taganga, I think this is the best hotel choice in town! Taganga is very much an off the beaten track, back-packer location. Myself, 39 and my mom, 64, found ourselves a little out of place and not a lot of activities of interest for older travellers. In town, it is all about beach bars, diving, boat trips and beach time (although the beach is long, it isn't soft sand). For us, the 40 degree heat was too much to enjoy the beach. Nothing cultural in the town to see - museums, churches etc. Excursions to Tayrona are fine for the adventurous, but you must be healthy and somewhat fit.
