Not the best for a high price

The room was OK, but the staff was not helpful. When asked about parking options, the valet employee voluntarily said you should just park the car yourself it’s cheaper...for one night it was 37$... when asked about getting a luggage cart, the lobby employee pointed across the street and said you can go get one over there... there wasn’t help offered at any point. Also in the room, the duvet cover had a brown stain on it which looked disgusting... it was near our faces and we had to turn the cover to be near our feet but we weren’t sure what it was... either way very gross and unsanitary.

A very frustrating checkin and parking experience.

Late checkin at the start plus we had no where to park while waiting. We were there 30 min before actual checkin but they couldn’t figure out how we could go and park while waiting. Plus they didn’t explain well how parking worked. I got charged $3 for parking without the hotel parking key. The first key they gave me didn’t work. Hotel would not reimburse the $3. Really!!! The hotel employee treated me like a child when trying to explain why they would not reimburse the $3. They also didn’t explain the $50 per night incidental charge. It was removed when we checked out less the $20 per night parking fee. But still when I asked the first night about it I was treated like a child again by the same person.

Cleanliness

Our room was nice and clean but did have an issue with strip where the carpet met the tile. There were tacks exposed that were not so great when you stepped on it. The tables where breakfast was served were never wiped during the hour plus that we sat visiting. Even aside from Covid, it seems that they should be wiped throughout the breakfast time. Even when I walked by afterwards they were still not wiped clean.

Could’ve been better

Too noisy, A/C did not work, toilets clogged when we got there. Overall not a good value. Won’t stay again.

Meh.

The room was generally comfortable and clean, although a little dated. The bathroom door was sliding frosted glass, which would not stay open and actually would slam hard. It also provided and embarrassing echo. The refrigerator in the room did not work but was quickly replaced by a friendly maintenance man. There was NO maid service for the duration of our 4 night stay, so no clean towels. The ice maker on our floor did not work either. No snack machines caused a trip to a corner convenience store. Careful about parking! It is a city owned parking garage that touts an $18 per day maximum. It's a misnomer... in fine print, it lets you know a parking day runs from midnight to midnight, hence OUTRAGEOUS FEES! There is no other option in this crowded downtown area. The common areas were well kept and staff encountered were friendly enough. This just did not turn out to be a good value for our money.

Parking ridiculously priced - hotel very nice

Parking was super expensive and the front desk person led us astray. We parked at 530pm and the girl told us that the fee would be $18 if we left the next day by 9am. We left at 830am, and the cost was $31.

3 stars...

Our shower had a leak in the floor tray pan. The ceiling above it needed to be repaired. There was barely any window type sunlight because the windows were teeny....which there’s no escape through for in case of emergencies. The door handle only allowed to turn up and not down to open the door. It served a purpose....a bed and shower.

In and out

Quick, inexpensive for last minute, the heated pool was cold, but the location was great. I did pay for parking right next to it and was hoping for at least half off.
