The amount of noise we heard from adjoining rooms, both next door and below, was astounding. We didn’t complain, because people seemed to be talking at normal levels. It was bad enough at $220/night, I imagine I would have been pretty angry if I had paid the $400+ weekend rate for the same room. There’s got to be some re-insulation that can be done in the walls and floors/ceilings.
In addition, the housekeepers didn’t actually show up during our stay until about an hour and a half before checkout time, when they knocked once and just barged in. Not sure why they would even enter a room before checkout unless they’re sure the guests have left.
That said, every single staff member, from the checkin desk to the pool to the restaurants, was fantastic. Helpful, efficient, and friendly. I hope you pay them well, they deserve it.
