I was told by the property via email that my reservation was canceled. I was assured by Hotels.com that my reservation was indeed still valid. Arrived at the property and was informed that my reservation was canceled, but they had a room available. I had to pay cash (he would not accept a card) and he said he would email the receipt. I have not yet received said email. He put the blame on Expedia because they sent him information for a Friday night booking when in reality it was supposed to be for Saturday night. Not really sure who to be mad at, Hotels.com, Expedia, or the guy at the property.
As for the room…….,,well, it was cold in there even though the heat was turned up all the way. The beds were very firm….no, wait, the beds were hard. Might have been more comfortable on the floor. It was better than sleeping outside, so I guess it could have been worse. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless it was the only available option.
