I booked and paid through EXPEDIA 1 room for 2 nights at Formosa Hotel, Batam, Indonesia. When my wife and I arrived at the hotel (by taxi), the hotel was totally CLOSED for renovation!!! It was not easy to find another hotel as we are not very familiar with other hotels in the area. Now let’s see how fast EXPEDIA will refund me.

Happy trips
Service is good check in fast . Booked for a family room which is no window and floor with a carpet. Regret to choose this room cos the carpet have a strong smell. After went back to home my son have a fever.

First impression of the room was that For the price it looked good but as you dive into the details you can see the age in the bathroom(oxidation) due to age. The sheets weren’t perfectly white as it’s aged. My problem was the sheets had old stains. However I placed a towel over it and surprisingly had a good sleep. The sheets didn’t smell so they did change it and my room was non-smoking which I totally appreciated.

Clean despite old stains and Aging toilet
Near to the Nagoya mall and massage and spa places
Helpful and friendly staff
Plenty of tv channels such as movies and Singapore tv channels
Complimentary water
Coffee & tea sachets
24hr food room service
Cons:
Stains on sheets, the management should Ensure stains sheets are not used
