Bad experience here. We cannot accept ard 20 rooms to share 1 bathroom only. Bad environment that cannot match the photos shown on website.

There were a few hiccoughs to checking in. We knew we were early but there was no response from the out of hours number posted on the door. We were lucky that the day we arrived the pub opened at noon and there was someone who could deal with us. There was a problem with the payment not being received from Hotels.com and so they were expecting payment from us and it wasn't until I showed them the receipt on my phone that it was sorted out and they let us check in early. We had been travelling for 24 hours and just needed some sleep!!! This is a great place to stay if you just need a base. It is on a major tram line and is quick to get into the city. The rooms are adequate (we stayed in room 1 this time but have stayed in Room 5 on a previous occasion) but the steam from the shower sets off the fire alarm. Don't expect the Ritz. We stayed 6 days and there is no room service (make your own bed and hang up the towels) but there is a kettle and fridge and they will lend you a hairdryer.The area around Smith Street has plenty of bars and the food at the BP is not too shabby. Across the road there is a supermarket and ATM in the Tribeca Apts Building and a very useful Grocery Bar which served delicious breakfast. All in all a good stay.

Good location, handy to shops. Basic ammenities, but it had what I needed. Just had issues with the hot water coming through for the shower. Could’ve done with another clean too.

Was exactly what I expected and paid for. Very convenient for the CITY, MCG and Richmond which were all places I was visiting. Close to Public Transport, clean and neat en-suite facilities.
