The people here are VERY sweet helpful and kind. It’s not fancy but it’s cozy and it has what you need. It’s close to everything. I was eating breakfast across the street at a market for like 4$ a day. The staff were very nice. I would definitely stay here again. I didn’t like the loud AC but whatever no big deal

I was charged a $35 fee for arriving late at the hotel. I arrived late because my flight was delayed. There is no explanation on the confirmation e mail or on the web site explaining this. When I arrived at the hotel the person behind the desk didn’t explain anything to me, he just took the money out of my account while I was standing there. Just noticed that my debit card had been deducted without any explanation. I’m furious about this underhanded way of money being taken out of my account and I want a refund.

The front staff couldn’t be nicer. However the rooms were filthy. Shower had hair and mold. The toilet leaked and flooded the room. The air conditioner is soo loud you couldn’t sleep. Too far to walk to the beach. They have free parking up to 4 spots so there is a chance you will have to park on the street which doesn’t seem safe. The pictures are deceiving. The deck/balcony is covered with potted plants and a very friendly cat and dog are there. It’s not worth the price.

Apparently the hotel is in the midst of much needed renovation. However from what I could see they are going to be minimal at best. The room I was in was small and very much cell like. There is only air conditioning in the rooms, (provided by window units, which housekeeping turned off whenever they cleaned the room). The mattress felt as if it were a box-spring covered by a sheet. The bathroom was so small/narrow that if you sat on the toilet (which was difficult to flush for some reason) your shoulder was jammed against the wall. I am a 6ft 2in tall man it was difficult to maneuver in the shower. The hot and cold taps on the sink were reversed. The water pressure is nonexistent. The only thing this hotel has going for it was the front desk manager. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer more informed individual.
