Always love staying here.. everyone is so helpful.. such a cozy and comfortable aparthotel.

Such a lovely hotel to stay at BUT unfortunately they have had to stop the famous breakfast buffet for now. The "replacement" fixed served breakfast, of which there are only 3 choices to choose from, is not good at all. I choose the American one and had 3 pancakes that were very rubbery, 2 fried eggs that although I expressed I wanted them soft fried I got 2 hard eggs that had obviously been cooked some time before our order at about 6.30 a.m. No toast and the fresh juice was watered down. Coffee was excellent. Not good La Sabana, We also ordered room service for dinner the night before and the food was disgusting to say the least. Will not order again and will not visit again till the breakfast buffet returns. Staff should tell the guests to have consideration for fellow guests and keep their celebrating, business cell calls etc on a lower key. Most disturbing for those of us who are actually trying to sleep. Aside from the food everything else was really good.

beautiful hotel. Very clean. Beds and linens seemed brand new. Service was friendly and prompt. Pool was very nice. Excellent hot breakfast in the morning. Great value.

I loved how quaint this hotel is. I appreciated the smaller size and yet the great amenities: beautiful pool area, sauna, and amazing brunch to be enjoyed in the cute breakfast room or poolside. The staff were all friendly amd helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are a little smaller than we are used to in Canada, but very comfortable and contain the amenities we would expect. Shower was small but great water pressure and no problem getting hot water. Beds were reasonably comfortable (I had twin beds.) The breezes into our ground floor room (at back of hotel) were amazing. Between the natural breezes and ceiling fan we didnt need to use air conditioning at all. Additional Pros: Hot and cold water dispenser available 24 hours close to the rooms; Complimentary continental breakfast available at 3:00 am for early departures including for bus tours, and then full breakfast 6-9 (approx). La Sabana Park is just down the street; Cons: Weekend evenings were a little noisy with music coming from some other location. Sounds carry between rooms.

The staff at La Sabana helped our first trip to Costa Rica be a fabulous one! They were always available for questions, directions and good advice. The breakfast omelettes were fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable. Although the hotel is older, it is well maintained and has beautiful grounds. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful local hotel with a lovely courtyard and amazing traditional breakfast options! Very safe, quiet, with easy access!

Sometimes, pictures of the the place your staying at can be misleading. But this place actually exceeded the pictures and my expectations. The staff were very helpful and nice. Parking is secured behind a gate and when you want to leave and return, your must let one of the staff know so they can open it for you. I didn't mind that at all. Highly recommended place to stay.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a good assortment of local cuisine and traditional American food too.
