Staying at the Palm Grove was surely an adventure. After arriving to the hotel that could be on an episode of ‘Catfish’at the check-in time, we waited for an hour, and payed a $100 deposit before receivingour metal door key.The company cares about their employees, seeing as how check-in time is only from 4-6 pm,meaning workers can have quality time with their family and friends. After entering the room,the strong fragrance of raw sewage greets you.This hotel does not offer a fitness facility,but after opening/closing the sliding door a few times, it will feel like a full-body workout. The pool with green water is temporary closed,but after just 0.5 miles of walking, you can visit the sister hotel and go swim in their pool.The hotel not offering wifi offers you and your family more quality time without electronics. Don’t worry about broken blinds, because mold will cover the missing pieces.You will not be disturbed in the middle of the night by a smoke detector, considering there isn’t one in the room.The water running constantly in the bathtub, makes it sound like your sleeping on the beach.The shower knobs are removable, making your showers more spacious.You won’t be woke up by housekeeping early in the morning because they won’t service your room unless you request it.Hotel guests have freedom to party all night long, because of all staff leaving at 6PM.The roaches will wait until dark to greet you.The price was affordable compared to surrounding hotels, we found out why !
