There was incredibly loud music at 6am, people slamming doors, the bathroom was dirty, there were locks on the door and a sign that said to make sure it is motel staff before opening the door.. ?? How safe is this place? I did not feel comfortable and i couldnt have gotten out of there sooner

My reservation said check in was between 3pm-530am. However, when we arrived at 11 pm, they had given my room away. I walked in and let the lady at the desk window know I had a reservation and gave my name. She frowned at me and looked at me like she had no idea what I was talking about. Then a man walked up and said on a irritated way that he had called me and my phone was not valid. He ran my card (I chose pay at the hotel option) and it did not go through and he said Expedia said they would email me and tell me he canceled my reservation at 6pm. The number he called was a number from an old Expedia account. Not mine for 13 yrs. No contact from Hotels.com to me. My card ? Not sure what he ran, but it works fine. Hotels.com showed all other hotels in town booked, so appears he was trying to cancel on me. Very bad service and he treated me like a criminal. Had to book a hotel with only 5 rooms left somewhere else that cost 50.00 more. Hotels.com gave me 20.00 for the problem. Not really good when I ended up paying 50 more. I have used Hotels.com for a few years now and this is the first time I had bad service. Very disappointing and not a satisfactory outcome. I will not book a Red Roof Inn again and not sure if I will continue to use Hotels.com. 11pm is not the time to find out you are about to have to sleep in your car or drive all night.

We enjoyed your accommodations, the room was nicely sized and on the first floor as requested. We appreciated you putting us in a room where we would not be a disturbance to others as we had our 2 dogs with us and although they are well behaved, then love people, but we are never sure how people react to them. The area was right next to the housekeeping/laundry room and room around us (except for above us) we're for storage and such, so we felt very comfortable. The only thing that I had a hard time with is that I couldn't find the ice machine on the first floor, which was hard as I had hurt my leg and my hubby had knee replacement surgery, so that made it a little difficult, no big problem though. The other thing which didn't pose too much of an issue with us, but others would be a bit put off with it, was the sink drain was clogged and would not drain properly, we let you and your housekeeping know, so you could deal with it before it became a real problem.
