Staff was very friendly and I feel that they provided the best service that they could with the limited staff that they had. Resort was clean and in very good condition. Restaurant menu was limited but good. Meals took a long time, but we had a larger group of 10 people. Bar service was very good and Savier (spelling ?) kept us entertained. I enjoyed the pool, beach and the free use of kayaks. My biggest disappointment was that the ocean water wasn't very inviting. It was churned up (brown) by waves, but this was the same throughout Placencia. We had one night where mosquitos where so bad on the bay side, in restaurant, that we decided to walk down the road and eat at another beach front restaurant where the wind helped to keep mosquitos away.
