Great views

Villa Marcolina is lovely. Our front unit was nice, needs painting and some of the cracks repaired and the front door is falling apart at the bottom and at one stage our key got stuck, but the apartment is lovely. One thing that needs to be changed are the blinds (blockout ones are highly recommended) as the sun shines straight in and the rooms are bright as soon as the sun is up. The beds were nice and big, firm but comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and a large fridge. Glad we had a lock up garage.

Great views.

beautiful ocean views. Although to get the view you have to be up a big hill. So we drove into town even though it is only a short walk Apartment well equipped although a little tired. Enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The set up of rooms was excellent, clean and tidy rooms but the best part of my stay was the receptionists. Absolutely amazing women who were awesome to deal with, polite and caring. Nothing was too hard to make happen. Awesome local knowledge and a pleasure to have met whilst our stay.

Every room in the unit was ample, comfortable and very clean, with lots of light. The view from the loungeroom was absolutely marvellous and the location was really close to town. Unfortunately, the QS bed was too soft and saggy and that affected sleep quality. The big hill on the way back from town is daunting and makes you think twice before deciding to go for a walk. Staff were extremely nice.

Poor communication from property managers regarding no hot water. Found broken glass over the outside terrace area. Inside villa was nice, views were great.

The property was quite old. The promised "marvellous" views are only really available to front Units. We were told, quite straightforwardly - had we booked direct we would have gotten a better room. We were in Apartment 10 & had a view of the back walls of the front units. There is no lift & we had to climb up 2 steep sets of stairs. The building is up a very steep incline and few would really want to walk from it to the ocean or shops. The ceiling vent in our son’s room was hanging down revealing a large hole. My husband stuck it up as best he could. It fell out again in the morning when the shower fan started. It had been previously repaired with Blu Tac ! Tip - Buyer beware - don’t believe what you read.

Paid for one night via the wotif website and later arrived at the Villa Mar Collina to check-in and were treated to No staff on at all meaning we couldn't be checked in and had to find alternative accommodation elsewhere! Demanding a refund for both bookings. WHAT A JOKE
