We booked a room at Grand Fiesta Americana hotel because we had stayed there last year and really liked it. But now because we are a gold member with Expidia we asked the receptionist if we qualified for an upgrade and she said let me check and to our surprise we were upgraded to the exclusive side of the hotel Live Aqua Resort and Wow what a nice hotel. The room was so spacious with a bathroom almost as big as the room. There was a huge tub in the bathroom and when you opened the curtins you could take a bath and see the city below. It was just beautiful. We had a hard time getting up in the moringing because the bed was so nice, we slept until 11:30 the first day. When you first walk in the room you turn the light switch on and mood lights come on and the full length curtin opens automatically. This is truly a very nice hotel and if we can get the upgrade again we will stay there agin. Our room was $105 a night and if we had reserved the room at Live Aqua it would have been $172 a night. This was truly an upgrade. Thanks Expidia!
