It's a lovely resort and I can't fault the staff; however, it feels like a retirement home, with the clientele being all very old people. The entertainment is all aimed at this group, with massive amounts of Credence Clearwater Revival and ABBA tributes. Despite it being half term, there was no kids club for the first two days, and then only for 90 minutes in the morning. For a family holiday, this is not ideal. There were two "menu" restaurants which felt extremely hostile to children (very haute cuisine, no accessible menu options for children) - my daughter lives in London and can happily eat in restaurants without needing some kind of crappy kids menu, but there wasn't anything remotely suitable for her here. So despite being a gorgeous resort, I don't think we will be coming back here. Also the music goes until 11pm most nights and is extremely loud (there is no double glazing and the hotel walls are very thin) - combined with elderly neighbours waking at the crack of dawn and listening to the news on TV at maximum volume, it is not as restful as it should be.
