Fourth Visit
This is my fourth stay at Coral Quays so love this place. Staff and food are excellent. Just love the peace and quiet.

Tropical setting
A very comfortable and easy going place to stay. I was met at the airport as previously requested and driven to the Resort for $7.50. The hexagonal bungalows are set in a tropical jungle garden. All day dining at the restaurant with great food, a convivial bar, large pool and efficient and friendly staff. The accredited diving operation run by Michael offers some great dives, including night dives, at Million Dollar Point, The President Coolidge and other reef sites. For those not Scuba Diving there is some great snorkelling in the ocean right at the front entrance of the resort. A deep sea fishing trip was arranged for myself and other guests with resort owner Phill as Skipper. A great afternoon on the ocean around the Islands and the catch prepared by the Chef and shared that evening. Coral Quays is an easy 8 minute drive to Luganville town for some sightseeing , shopping, or restaurants and a local mini bus will cost $1.50 or a taxi $5.00. Phil and Charmaine were excellent hosts and, although very much hands on with the business always seemed to find some time to socialise with guests at the end of the day. The sightseeing tours to various Island locations were well organised and the staff are friendly and well trained.

Divers Delight!
Coral Quays was set in a gorgeous location and the staff were excellent! Excellent on site diving operation with enthusiastic and knowledgable young staff and great gear! A really personal diving experience! Awesome food in the restaurant and a lovely view to match! The bungalow room was a little overpriced for what it was, no tv or ac but nice and clean and comfortable. We had an awesome stay and would definitely suggest that people dive through Coral Quays, just make sure to email ahead and book your dives so that you don't miss out!

Simple, local hotel
Coral Quays is very simple, local style accommodation. We thought it expensive for the quality provided. Rooms are clean but would be improved with a face-lift, new towels (for pool use also), bed covers, light fittings, window coverings, bathroom toileteries provided. Owners and staff were friendly and attentive. The common areas were comfortable, restaurant menu looked great but unfortunately there were many items unavailable (no fish!) and food didn't measure up to expectatiions. Continental breakfast very ordinary. The hotel is out of town so not within walking distance of other eating places. The complimentary bikes were a bonus but need better maintenance. private beach area across road well looked after. Concept of resort great - a revamp of certain areas would improve.
