Staff was nice good location

I was actually surprised with my visit. I've seen the hotel multiple times but never thought much about it because I live in the area. One of my son's thought that it would be a great idea to get a room with a kitchen for prep, Christmas & family time since he was traveling in... Initially, got the room, was able to see that I'd booked a KING STUDIO & it was lacking in my overall plan but , thanks to the sweetest person at the front desk, I was switched to a KING SUITE that COMPLETELY hit every option needed...everything was included, from plates, pots, pans , utensils, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, etc. The suite was large enough to accommodate preparing & serving an ENTIRE Christmas dinner, family get-together, kinda sleepover, lounging, whatever, lol. The staff member working the evening shift was great, as well...when I asked if we could borrow chairs from downstairs in order to have a sit-down dinner, she was like "Sure!" The hotel even offers playing cards, board games, a blender, etc... basically, TownePlace is the equivalent of a mini "apartment" for a weekend or a week. Conveniently located at Pecanland Mall so you can literally shop until you drop ...then drop off your purchases in your room as you drop into bed. The next time that I want a weekend getaway without leaving the city, TownePlace is a top-notch option for me.

Hotel was nice, but a few complaints for the price point: (1) no covered area to load/unload. It was raining and cold when we left, and it was less than ideal to load the car in the rain; (2) the TV remote was broken and couldn’t watch TV; and (3) there was some food waste from the prior guest on the floor when we arrived.

This is one of the best places to stay in monroe LA.

The bed was less than 4 feet from the bathroom, the bed was very noisy when you sit on either side, and the refrigerator was loud. The toilet was so close to the tissue holder that my leg was touching the roll. I was not able to upgrade to another room. The staff was rather rude when I made requests. I checked the room and left some very expensive sandals behind and they were never found.

My stay was ok other than my room not being ready at 3 wasn’t able to get into my room until 7

Usually a good place but our last stay was miserable. Huge party above us because they turned the hotel over to a local college to house students while the dorms are under construction. No sleep that night! Seems like the hotel would enforce quiet rules for all guests. No telling how long this will last.

We Stayed during COVID when everything was to be extra clean. We had someone’s leftover food still in our refrigerator. So I know the fridge wasn’t cleaned at all. We found a few hairs left on the bathroom counter. The sofa had a few stains and was a little wore and the foot stool was a little dirty. Beds were clean and comfy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The lady at the desk let my husband take a few weights out the workout room to our room to use since it was closed for covid. We were also upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite at no extra charge due to scheduling problem on their part.
