I was there one spring break with my son. Check in was fine and the staff were nice and friendly. The first thing that I disliked was that no one assisted you in finding your room, you were just handed a map and had to figure it out. The property itself was very hilly and I had to carry all of our luggage to our room without any assistance. Once I go to the room, I realized that the outlets were all European style. I called to the front desk to see if they had adapters available and they did not. I had to wait until the next day to get some which I had to purchase for $6 for one. The next issue was that there were no washcloths. I was told that they don’t have nor provide those who we had to use a rather large hand towel as a washcloth. When inquiring about the A La Carte restaurants, I was informed that only guests staying 7 or more days are allowed to eat there. This is something that I’ve never experienced at an all inclusive resort. On the site and in their brochure, they advertise that covid testing is available onsite for guests but that was not the case. No proper instructions were given and after getting into a heated discussion with the front desk staff, I found out that they do not have covid testing onsite. Being that I needed one to return home, I had to make an appointment at the airport and pay for a taxi to take me there and back which costed me an additional $80 round trip…there were some things I liked but overall I would not recommend.
