Really nice welcome at reception, courteous and efficient. Helpful when I asked for local directions. Rooms spacious and comfortable with all required amenities and good AC. I liked the industrial look of the converted building.. a former fish smoking factory and cigar factory. Check out easy. Breakfast good.I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

Fabulous hotel in a wonderful canal setting, close to the city centre. Yes, beside a vibrant night time set of venues, but the soundproofing works well. The blackout curtains allow for great sleep in a comfortable well proportioned room. In Mechelen for a long weekend city break, and we will be back!

Brilliant stay. Superb location in the very heart of Mechelen on the river. Lots going on. Beautiful Wellness Centre in the hotel which guests can use up to 12 noon each day. Breakfast is wonderful with made to order eggs of all types e.g. omelette with variety of mix (vegetables, salmon, bacon). One note is if driving, there is no parking but with the help of the hotel staff, who are very friendly, they can tell you good and safe places to park for relatively cheaply (cost us approximately €3 per day including overnight). Highly recommend this hotel and Mechelen is a fantastic city to explore.

We stayed at this hotel recently and overall it was a good experience. Rooms were spacious, and the location is excellent. Staff was friendly but young and were not always around when you needed them. No real table service in the lounge area for drinks. Parking is terrible - there is no parking at the hotel so you have to park in a lot across the street which is 18 euro per day and doesn’t let you ride in and out contrary to what they tell you so beware you will pay every time you exit and reenter. Food in hotel was very mediocre - they cater food in and warm it up - pity because the restaurant area is quite cozy. The wellness is only open to guests from 7-10 am which really is not sufficient for vacationers and the tiny gym needs lots of help. Breakfast is 20 euro per person per day which was a bit outrageous for what you received. Lastly there were almost never enough towels and we never did quite figure out how to open the complimentary toiletries. Also our room was a bit cold. We did not hate this hotel and loved the location but certain things could be improved.

Zeer mooi en goedgelegen hotel midden in de stad. Nette en ruime kamers. De staff is ook zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ruim ontbijt!
