The check-in is easy, receiving a code in advance that unlocks the property doors and the guest room. The room is comfortable, though not extremely spacious, but very clean. Front desk staff is very friendly. The wait for the elevator can be a little bit long.

Lovely room, air con super effective, awful view but local neighbourhood made up for it. Highly recommend Frothy Monkey cafe for breakfast. Appreciated the keypad entry to the room and the fact we didn't need to take keys with us, but we had to enter the numbers ~5 times each day to get back into the room. Bathroom was gorgeous, really nice space to get ready, and the smart TV was a really nice touch. We had a slight issue with the headboard falling down while we slept and hitting me on the head, but I think that was a one off. Bit disappointed they didn't replenish any supplies during our four day stay, but couldn't fault the rest of it.

I booked this room for a much-needed staycation. I like the fact that they advertise as a fully non-smoking hotel. Upon check-in, I opened the door to my room and was hit with a major smoke smell. It was very apparent the previous guests had smoked inside the room. I contacted the hotel and they sent up a cleaning lady with a spray bottle and she started spraying down the curtains and couch with what was basically Lysol. I told her that was just going to mask the odor. Ultimately, I could not stay in the room because of the strong smoke smell. I basically was at the hotel for 10 minutes and had to leave right away and go back home. That was very disappointing. The hotel did fully refund me, but I had to contact Hotels.com to get the actual refund and Hotels.com helped me but the Gilmore/AvantStay was no help.

The room was very nice and new too. Just make sure you bring your own supplies like shampoo & body wash. It’s empty. Another thing the guy behind the desk must had eaten a lemon or just finished a glass of vinegar when we arrived. We didn’t do the online check in. Was a really comfortable stay.
