We got caught off guard by the cost of parking per day. My fault for not seeing it in the info.. But, Debbie said she would not charge us for the 3 nights for parking. We arrived at 7:00 AM and she has a room ready by 8:00 with an upgraded King Bed and Mountain View. Debbie is Amazing, thanks so much. We has an awesome Honeymoon at The Christiania.

We went for our anniversary and it was really nice and cozy! Perfect for the two of us :) we arrived right before ski season began so it was pretty quiet but it was just what we needed. Rooms were clean and the staff was super nice and helpful

The hotel was pretty empty on a Sunday night, but they put my daughters and I in a garden level room. The thermostat was broken and it was HOT but we weren't comfortable cranking the windows open right onto the village path leaving us with no security. It was LOUD, as though someone was moving furniture above us all night long. Since staff leaves at 8:00 for the night, there was no one to contact to move rooms. I have contacted them since, but haven't heard anything back.

The location is excellent; however, you don't want room 309. It is loud and because the shades are only so-so it doesn't shut out the light very well. The drain in my sink barely worked and I didn't have any maid service beyond the check in the other two nights of my stay. Also, the parking situation is a little inconvenient. Instead of being given a pass to operate the gate you have to come and get it in the lobby and then return it to the lobby each time.

I wish I had known there was no air conditioning. Having to sleep with the windows open for three nights was murder on my allergies.

I called 2 days ahead and told them that I’m going to be there early with the wife and two little kids and asked if they would be kind enough to check me in an hour or two earlier to get the kids settled from the long trip. Got there and they said we can’t get you in before 4pm. I asked if I could get a king bed room instead of the two queens. We had to pay $50 more to get the bedroom with a king size bed, and also it could be ready around 3pm or so they said. We upgraded and left the hotel and didn’t get a call till 4:05pm saying that the room was ready. All I’m saying is that they could have been nice and had it ready by 2 or 3. Checkout is between10 and 11 and check in is at 4pm. They had Plenty of time to make it happen.

Some would say quaint and charming, but we did not have a great experience. It was hot - no AC, so we left the windows open but the street is loud. We did not get good rest. The beds are comfortable, however. There was no water provided or even anything that we could purchase. No ice or breakfast was provided due to Covid, but we paid the same price as always... not worth it. There was an old water bottle and glove underneath the bed from a previous person's stay...so we didn't feel that the cleaning was up to par. No attention to detail...We stay in different places every time we go to Vail. We will not ever stay in Christiania Lodge again.

Hotel is cozy and convenient to Vail Village. Felt like you were in a Swiss chalet - I imagine it would be even prettier with snow! Debbie, the manager, was wonderful!

Our room had no heat. Then they fixed and heat would not go off. Trash in room when we checked in. Then they had to turn heat totally off by a wrench. Front desk could have cared less when we checked out!

Great room and ambiance. Close proximity to most everything, including restaurants, shops, and the gondola.
