When I write and read reviews, I try and avoid the people who moan for the sake of it.
This hotel is not the Waldorf Astoria - but I knew that when I booked!! What the Barracuda is in fact, is an absolute little gem of a hotel. My first trip to this part of Spain and when I return, I shall book this hotel without hesitation.
The location first of all is perfect. Right next to the beach and promenade. Roughly 5 minutes walk from the harbour/marina. The rooms are very spacious and the air con is excellent. The beds are not the comfiest I have ever slept on, but I go back to my original statement and there are worse things in life. Bathroom was fine and the shower was astonishingly powerful.
The best part of the hotel is the rooftop bar. Amazing panoramic views, cheap drinks and great chillout music.
The surrounding nightlife is plentiful and will suit all tastes.
Fabulous stay. Don't be put off by a 7.6 average. In my opinion, that is very underrated (for clarity, we were a group of blokes, 40s-70s on a birthday/leisure trip for 3 days)
