Welcoming
Perfect place to stay before cycling the c2c. Friendly and helpful staff and pleasant atmosphere. Jennings Smooth Bitter from the bar was very welcome. Thanks for the well wishes....yes I did manage to cycle all the way to Sunderland before nightfall!

Lovely Hotel Great Staff
Booked this hotel for colleagues working in the area, twin room booked, advised it was very clean, friendly staff, good parking facilities, breakfast was lovely, hotel staff couldn't do enough for you, booked again and again, would recommend.

Nice older hotel
Nice clean older hotel with a very friendly & courteous staff. Small bar was friendly especially with the Rugby matches going on. Excellent breakfast, only 5 minute walk to town center
