Horrible! Run from this property
Upon Checkin I was given a room that appeared to have black mold growing on the wall of the shower, it was aggressive and the pictures are below. The front desk lady was pleasant and moved me rooms. As I go back upstairs to my new room - I realize it’s the room right next door to the dirty mold room and is closer to the elevator, basically the closest room to the elevators. Which was an odd choice to give someone who is now displaced to a new room due to an unclean and extremely toxic & harmful mold issue. Who knows where it had spread to in the walls. I leave my bags and go for a walk, I come back to eat dinner at the hotel and am told the kitchen doesn’t work and and there is no food anywhere on site. I am traveling solo and am not comfortable wandering the city by myself to find dinner. The hotel's kitchen was down for my entire stay and I paid $756 a night. Horrendous experience. I emailed the front desk 3x about this situation and never received a reply

Plants and greenery lovely, room was basic
Trip with my daughter who works in the city. Thought she would like the vibe. Loved the online pictures of the hotel. The entrance and the bar/restaurant area lived up to that vibe. The lobby seating is sub par. 2 sad lumpy cream sofas very low to the ground. Checked in on 2nd floor and asked what the $46 per day room rate included. They said wifi, water and on property amenities. I said I wasn’t using any amenities and asked if they could remove charge. No. I asked for any room upgrade. No. I asked for ice in room at night and water. Never got that. Had to ride elevator to ground floor and walk to bar to get ice every night. Water was never left in my room (part of the hotel nightly fee). Had to remember to ask before heading to room each night. No glasses, no coffee maker, no mini fridge in room. I wasn’t expecting large room for my rate, it was small, but ok. Marble shower nice, but the floor is done in large marble tiles vs small pebble tiles which is normal for tile shower floors bc more traction...these large tiles are very slippery! Be careful. The mattress was ok, but not plush. Definitely ask for more pillows..only 2 on queen bed. Hallway/elevator always smelled like marijuanna, entrance has a “signature smell “but it’s not common to room floors.
