BAD SERVICE
So when checking in to the hotel the front desk lady was extra rude and did not want to help us once we got checked in and got in the room it was moderately clean but the ac barely worked and it was hot all night and our room was supposed to be “Balcony Double Qeen” and was a single king and we could not sit on the balcony without getting wet even though it had not rained that day they had a gutter coming straight down that had either fallen off or got cut off about ten feet above balcony emptying straight onto balcony I left 100 dollars cash as a deposit even though I paid with a valid card that on file wasn’t good enough apparently and when I went to go check out and get the deposit back. We had to wait exactly 49 minutes for the the manager to get there and give us our cash back. It felt kind of shady. And the service was all around bad.

Fair for two nights
Hotel was conveniently located. Walking distance to much of what we wanted to see for the Lonestar rally. Place was clean with a balcony view of the ocean. Front desk staff was amazing and very helpful. Hotel is definitely dated and could use updates but worth it for what we paid.

Wonderful and clean with beautiful views
Wonderful day shift person who was kind and helpful. The place was located near many restaurants and the sea wall. The evening desk person was not as friendly or helpful. I’m so happy we arrived with day person there

Overall a good stay
The balcony was the highlight of our hotel stay. We loved it. The room was great. The only bad thing was the beds they were so hard you were just sleeping on springs. Every night we all woke up at like 4 am with backs hurting. The pool on the other hand was heated and great for a cold winter day.

Hotel Hell Beachside
I NEVER complain about a place but this needs to be known. We stayed overnight for a cruise the next day. The first room we were in had mold growing on the walls and doors, cracks in and around windows, walls and doors, smelled musty, ripped screens and had a HUGE wad of hair under the air unit. The lady at the front desk was super nice and let us choose between another two rooms. But the excuse for the rooms uncleanliness was because they hired to male cleaners…… Both also had cracks and mold in the rooms. The showers also had hair and mold in all rooms. ALL Towels and bedding had mysterious stains and hair wrapped up in them.

I reserved three separate rooms for my family to do an overnight for 5K my room the thermostat did not work so it was very cold until they came and fixed it the door to the balcony did not open the other two rooms said they saw cockroaches and ants in the rooms

No Hot Breakfast
When we stayed at this same hotel a week earlier, there was a full hot breakfast including eggs and sausage. But this time there was no hot breakfast on either of the two morning we were there. We were told their truck did not some in. So we had to go to a restaurant and pay for breakfast.

Comfy bed, so-so breakfast
The room was large and the bed was comfortable. I asked for a late checkout and was told that was only for Choice members. They had a shuttle to the cruise terminal but only until 11 a.m. and our check-in was 1 p.m. That was inconvenient and we had to sit around the cruise terminal until 1 p.m.. The breakfast was the average hotel breakfast with sausage and eggs, etc., but we missed the gravy and biscuits. We actually had better breakfast at the Best Western.
