I had booked myself here - they put me up on another property of theirs which is nothing more than a cheap OYO room blaming Expedia saying Expedia did not forward the booking to them. When I decided to cancel my booking a day earlier, suddenly rooms became available. The staff is friendly but that's the only good thing about this place. Don't book your sightseeing through the hotel. First they overcharge which is fine but on 3 occasions out of 3, they inform you at the last moment that rates have suddenly increased and you have no option but to agree. They don't accept cards like most of Sikkim so carry cash because half the time the ATMs don't have connectivity. You book a Bolero and a Sumo turns up at the Bolero price - those kind of things, you ask for a car at 7 and it turns up at 8 . End of the day, we managed to do all we wanted to do but avoid the hotel if you don't want to be inconvenienced. Also, this is the first hotel I have not been satisfied with which I have booked through Expedia.
