I'm always skeptical when I see at guest rating of "10" on any property. My family travels a lot so I have had some less than stellar experiences with some places rated as 10. I will say, though, that the Lily Inn deserves a perfect rating.
Jean, the owner of the Lily Inn, was a wonderful hostess - warm, friendly, and accommodating. The building is beautiful and tastefully decorated with personal items from Jean's family including her mother and late husband. Breakfast was tasty and Jean offers a special breakfast to anyone with different dietary needs.
The room we stayed in was comfortable and spacious. We happened to be there on a beautiful Spring day and we could actually open the windows and smell the fresh air. Plus, there was a gas fireplace in the room to help take the chill off after we got caught in the rain coming back from dinner. Be aware that this is a historic building so the units are upstairs and you have to be able to get up there independently.
I don't usually say this but I can't think of a single thing I would change about the Lily Inn. It definitely deserves the perfect "10" rating it has.
