Secrets St James, is a beautiful property. Our room had a great view. The food was decent.(which says alot when it comes to all inclusives)
Downside:
The check in process is absolutely ridiculous. It'll take at least an 1.5 hrs for a 7 min process once you finally sit down to check in.
They also don't tell you at check in that you HAVE to check out, to receive 2 tix's. One for the bellman and one for the gate guard. My toilet had to be fixed 3x and it still didnt work. UGH
Only one elevator which took forever was also pain.
They are do some weirdness by racking the seaweed and what else is located at the water's edge, then they dig a hole and barrier that debris.
However, What I was extremely dissatisfied with was the customer service!!!! Basically, it SUCKS!!!!!!! The staff at this resort are all friendly, when all they have to do is say..." good morning Malady". That courtesy only extends as far as that sentiment. If you ask for help, their attitude changes and if seems as though now you are a hassle to them.
Don't get me wrong, I love, love , love Jamaica. But, I will not stay at this property again for the sole reason of the piss poor customer service.
