Reservei um quarto com ar condicionado, o mesmo estava quebrado e falei com a recepção que me atendeu grosseiramente informando que estava quebrado, pediu outro quarto e não havia. Depois que paguei e me instalei, não resolvido o problema, ofereceu a devolução do dinheiro para ir para outro hotel

The owner of the place is the most impolite man I ever met. He started shouting at my fiancée who was kindly asking about the WiFi not working. Then he shouted at me for asking help to close the door of the room which you need to clap very violently otherwise the room isn’t closing. I wouldn’t recommend staying in this property with such an horrible person in charge.

Not as expected. They book for 5 people and tells off for not accepting 5 people.

I stayed for three nights in two different rooms. I thought the first one was bad, but ended up moving into one even worse. The place is very old, and in serious need of renovation. If you are travelling alone and want the cheapest possible option, it works for a short trip. I wouldn't say the double rooms are big enough for two people though. The room was not very clean - and the bathroom even worse. There was no soap, the towel rail was hanging off the wall, there was dirt in the bath and on the floor, and one of the towels had a stain on it. Even with the room window closed, you can smell people smoking outside. You can also hear the room next door when they use the bathroom. The reception staff are lovely, and even without speaking much English do their best to accommodate. I knew there wasn't much they would be able to do about the condition of the rooms so didn't want to bother them too much with requests, but they gave good tips about what to do in Porto. As a very low budget option it is fine for a short trip, but if you want anything other than very basic and not very clean, you are better off staying elsewhere.

Absolutely awful experience. The reception was extremely rude and basically constantly yelled at me while I was trying to check in. The room wasn't soundproof and I heard everytime a car went over a pothole. Would never ever stay here again, our experience here had the potential to ruin our whole experience of Porto

The hotel was great. Check in was easy and the stay was made easy for us. The cleanliness was okay. We had to plug in the heater as it was originally freezing in the room.

Porto is an amazing city the Bela star was farely well located to the main sites it was simple and clean but did what said it said on the tin would recommend for a budget stay in Porto

Loud talking night manager in echoing reception next to our room. Staff room next to room so chat, clatter and cigarette smoke at 7am. Never again.
