My wife and I have stayed in dozens of B&Bs and this is the first negative review that we’ve given. The accommodations were acceptable, old but clean and reasonably comfortable. The proprietor, Margerie, was the problem. She was not accommodating and gave us the feeling that we were intruding in her home. During breakfast the first morning, which was quite good, she brought a small carafe of coffee which was a cup and one half for each of us. When I asked if we could have more coffee, Margerie replied curtly that “you only get one pot with breakfast”. After breakfast, we asked if she could leave two glasses out for us when we return for the day. We like to have a glass of wine in the evening. When we returned that evening, we found two red solo cups on the table. Margerie never once asked if we needed anything or asked if we enjoyed our stay when we departed.
I would not recommend this place and would not stay there again.
