The hotel booked a Rave the first nignt of our stay. Two floors up from the party our room shook from the bass. The party lastes until 2 am. No relief from the disruption. Also the shower leaked badly as in huge puddle all over the bath and shower area. The front desk staff did what they could and I appreciate there efforts. We left the hotel after the first night. My guess is the hotel quieted the next night but we will neverk know?

Always a good place to stay in downtown Dallas...reasonable, friendly, very clean and Covid aware, free and convenient parking...walkable to downtown attractions.

Our toilet did not flush. There was not enough toilet paper. No extra roll, just the partial roll on the dispenser. The lighting is awful. It’s impossible to turn on the light above the sink without turning on all of the lights. If someone gets up in the middle of night to go to the bathroom you have to light up the whole room.

Our second time staying at this location. We love Aloft hotels because Of their pricing and super cool atmosphere! The decorating & amenities are awesome!

The building itself was extremely neat. The rooms smelled like mildew and we had to change rooms. The pictures on the website look better than in person. The front desk woman was EXTREMELY rude and even interrupted a question I was asking regarding check out to tell me my mask needs to cover my entire face (it had slipped and my nose was uncovered). Her lack of professionalism left me and my wife with a bad taste our mouths.

The dryers are a joke. Literally had a load drying for 3 hours and my laundry had to be placed all over the room to dry. They have 2 in the hotel. They are ventless electric units. Next time pay to have a vent put in so we can actually dry clothes. Paying for parking when you have 12 spots, and having to use the giant public lot out back sucks. The homeless folks allowed to hang out at the door while charging their cell phones and asking for money as I walk into the hotel. That was a treat. One morning I walked out to find a large homeless man in the bushes staring me down. I am pretty sure he was urinating. As a 6’, 200lb man, I can assure you my wife and daughters will never stay at an Aloft. The security cameras are broken. Pretty obvious by the wires hanging out of the housing and no camera in it. Nicole was enough for me to want to check out mid stay. Attitude for days. Nobody in the lobby, 20’ feet from her, and I’m getting hollered at about a mask. If this is your hotel regulation, you’re all morons. I’m not near anyone and nobody is in the lobby. The bar is closed due to covid. No wait, it’s only open on Friday and Saturday nights. The beer is piss warm for $6-7 a bottle though. It’s special coors light. Warm and expensive! It’s lipstick on a pig. It’s an overall crappy hotel. I’m sure it’s making money though. I won’t book an Aloft again. For the money, I can get into a real hotel, not this really hip thing that is a bag of crap!
