We had a fantastic anniversary week at Il Frantoio. The smaller town of Praiano is the perfect option on the Amalfi coast. A bus ride west, brings you to Positano. A bus ride east, brings you to Amalfi/ Ravello and more. Not only were the dining options fantastic, but you avoid the heavy congested tourists you see in Positano or Amalfi town. Giacomo and his father Julio run this quaint but thoughtful B&B with only 6 rooms. From the fantastic daily breakfast to the spacious terrace with gorgeous views, it was such a pleasant reprieve from the daily trips to neighboring towns. If you're looking for an amenity filled hotel with immediate service like a chain resort, this is not for you. If you're looking for a slower paced- care filled experience, consider Il Frantoio! This week was so memorable and we were so happy with our choice to stay at Il Frantoio!

The staff was very accommodating and made the check in process easy, even though we were very early. Had many amenities available on site and staff was willing to help with bookings as required. Nana the owner’s dog was also great!

Absolutely loved this villa/hotel. Was in a good spot close to restaurants and the beach and had a very homely feel. Will definitely stay here again when we return!

The location was great and had some amazing views of the sea and surrounding area.

Il Frantoio Villa was amazing. My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary there. Very centrally located and the family really treats you like family. We can’t wait to go back someday. It was really sad to leave.

Touring through Europe, this was by far our best experience. At first we were a little taken back, having to leave our bags at the top of the hill and walk quite far down curvy, steep steps. However, we should have a place trust in the staff as they left explicit directions. Once there, the view from our balcony took our breath away. The staff was so genuinely friendly and Lia made you feel like family. The breakfast was perfect each day, and the evening restaurant suggestions all wonderful. We will certainly return!!!

We have stayed here before and love this place. The owners and staff are wonderful. We will always recommend that if you come to Praiano, you stay at II Frantoio. We will be visiting them again in the future.

200 steps down ( and therefore up!) to the town....but worth the climb. Smashing breakfast on a .lovely little terrace and helpful staff. Fridge in room and nice outside areas- small pool terrace and garden.

Spectacular views and wonderful location. Hotel service was wonderful and relaxed. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The pool has views out that you don’t believe are real. 207 steps to the town, so take some good trainers. The location of Praiano is perfect as it on the door step to all the major Amalfi towns & path of the Gods, without the busy rush

Wonderful place and service! Giacomo took very good care of us! Amazing room and views. The breakfast was very good as well! Highly suggest!
