Terrific location in Chicago's Gold Coast. Large comfy rooms - but ask for a floor above 17 or 18 if you want any kind of view, esp. if you are facing south, to make sure you aren't looking into other buildings. Really enjoyed Petite Margaux for morning coffee and treats.

It was absolutely wonderful!!! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Only complaint was we got a suite and WiFi was not working, and the fireplace was broken. We did call maintenance and they tried to fix it, but still did not work.

It was obvious that the hotel hasn’t been doing the required upkeep. Furniture, walls, counters, baseboards, and cabinetry was cracked, scratched, chipped, missing chunks, and broken. What was at one time a nice hotel is no longer. In addition the service lacked that which is expected at a five star hotel. Check in was chaotic, laundry service was late, room service was no better than frozen pizza (actually worse due to the exceptionally high prices), and many times we were left wondering what the staff was doing in the lobby. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Large room and bathroom. Excellent location. Really loved the place.
