We booked a King size bedroom, but they didn't have one on check in. The front desk lady was very frustrated and made everyone else feel frustrated. The hotel smelled terrible. I think they had a leak of some sort.

Place was nice and clean. Lady at the front desk when I checked was a little rude, but other than that, it was a good stay.

Rude staff that was very un-accomodating, room wasn’t available 2 hours after the check in time, didn’t even get the room we asked for, staff yelled at us & was very rude. Room supposedly wasn’t clean at 5pm of the day of check in. Tried to leave and get another room somewhere else & that came after me outside yelling for me to come back. Overall horrible experience and hospitality. Would recommend never going there again for anyone.

Upon our arrival, staff was not pleasant. There was an elevator alarm going off & had been for hours. The following morning when I went downstairs the alarm was still going off (glad I wasn't on the first floor). Finally the manager arrived & was able to turn off the alarm but I overheard her say "I tried to explain to staff how to turn it off, but they didn't know how & I wasn't coming in to do it myself". My toddler grandson misplaced something & as I was trying to locate it, I found a disgusting moldy spit cup full of chewing tobacco under a bedskirt. We have stayed here before and had comfortable beds, however this time the beds were not comfortable. I will probably try a different hotel the next time I am in the Weatherford area.

A $20.00 pending charge was made to my CC at check-in should it be needed. That was ‘normal,’ but it took over 2 weeks for that pending charge to ‘fall off’ my card, which was not ‘normal’. Even after multiple calls to the hotel and visa. We arrived just a few days after the Texas Great Deep Freeze which apparently caused broken water pipes and the hotel was doing their best dealing with that, plus all the COVID restrictions on the hotel. I wish our businesses well and hope they can survive all these issues they are confronted with and the resulting requirements. The hotel staff did an excellent job!

A couple of things I had issues with. First the mattresses were not of typical Marriott quality. Very hard. Secondly at check out the morning clerk was not wearing a mask. Why ask customers to wear masks if employees don’t? I realize it’s a nuisance but so is wearing seatbelts! But we have to do it. I don’t get it.

While room 124 was clean and pleasant, the heater was extremely loud; it woke me during the night. It was so loud I thought a rude customer had left a diesel truck running outside the building to ensure it started in the morning (it was a cold evening.) I didn't realize it was the heater making the noise until the next morning. Also, though it didn't make any noise, the flapper in the toilet tank was defective; a little water was leaking into the bowl during our 1-night stay. So, though everyone was pleasant, these things detracted from the visit.
