We've stayed at Long Beach before. We like the setting on the quiet, north end of Cha-am Beach. The staff are pleasant and professional without being too obtrusive. Rooms are a nice size and ours was clean. Adequate amenities. Beds are comfortable. Wifi worked well. Only issues were that the lighting in the room was quite dim, and they don't have electric outlets to speak of. There's a 2-prong near the vanity desk and another in the bathroom. The only 3-prong with ground is the outlet that the TV & refrigerator are plugged into. We've stayed before, so packed our own extension strip. Breakfast is great for a buffet. Lots of Thai choices. Adequate Western choices, including a nice variety of breads and ample bacon. They have 2 swimming pools. One is a standard pool of a very good size. The other is a smaller pool that is great for kids. It is equipped with a slide and other play objects, plus has a fair sized kiddie pool area. All told, an easy and pleasant place to stay.

Breakfast was a huge disappointment for me. Bacon was like inedible leather and coffee was black warm water. Restaurant staff could not speak any English.

We only spent 1 brief night here for an early morning Beach Run the next day, so we didnt get full use of the hotel! However, the time we spent here was excellent.

We stay in Cha-am several times a year and have tried about half a dozen hotels. Long Beach is our new favorite. We had a standard room. It's a little on the small side but not tiny. Comfortable. Not much of a view from the balcony unless you are upper floors, but we could spot the sea from the 5th floor. Bathroom amenities adequate. Shower has multiple shower heads. Water heats quickly. TV has a nice sampling of stations, including 3 or so English language as well as other Euro language stations. They have 2 swimming pools, one a little more sedate and the other a playland for the kids (slide, swinging bridge, etc). Both pools have childrens' wading areas. Lots of families were drawn to this hotel. The beach is just a minute or two walk away, and they are at the far quieter north end of the beach. They also have their own private beach area with chairs and umbrellas. The breakfast buffet is easily the best of these that we've found in the price range of Long Beach. Nice salad variety. Freshly made eggs. 4 or 5 choices of breads. A nice assortment of baked goods, and a reasonable choice of fruits. And they had bacon. Real bacon. Plus they have a nice variety of Thai offerings as well. A very pleasant buffet. The establishment is a little on the older side but they work hard to make sure things are clean and presentable. Staff is very attentive. Wi-fi was strong (though you do have to log in quite often if you let it sit). A well run hotel. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Stayed here on a beach holiday only 50 metres from beach rooms are large enough well cleaned daily with bedding changed water is nice and hot TV is ok not to good if you only speck English!good pools superb staff service is very good the breakfast is good for European s as well as Asian ...there are quite a few restaurants close to the hotel at good prices overall our stay was a good one

An older European hangout, not for the younger set . Excellent service and a good varied selection for breakfast Two minute walk to the beach and the loungers and shade umbrellas. It felt like a 4.5 star hotel.

Chambre avec très belle vue. Personnel très aimable. Belles piscines peu ombragées. Il faut payer un supplément pour pouvoir bénéficier d'un transat confortable et d'un parasol sur la très belle plage, un éloignée de 200 mètres
