We chose this hotel for its location and it didn't disappoint in that respect. Perfectly walkable to all the theaters and Times Square. Close to the subway and great restaurants. The staff were helpful but busy--it was very hard to talk to someone without waiting a while at the reception desk. I ended up just calling the front desk.
I was traveling with my aunt who is elderly and the elevators were so packed in the morning with no instructions for what to do if you have accessibility needs. She ended up walking down 10 flights so we could get to breakfast. Speaking of which, breakfast was very crowded with no rhyme or reason to it--no place to line up so everyone is just everywhere. Again, it was hard to find someone when you had a question about breakfast foods or allergens.
There is no parking, so we parked a couple of blocks away and walked.
I would recommend this hotel overall with those caveats.
