Villa Lara was a wonderful property, we had a beautiful room and our hosts were great and made us feel right at home. The property had very nice views, and was quiet, even though it was only a five minute walk to the center of Amalfi. Would love to visit again!

Location was just off the chaos of the main strip. Amalfi is pretty small so everything was within walking distance. Room was small but met all of our needs. Staff was wonderful from setting up car service to and from Naples, to giving recommendations for dinner and excursion. Both emails and personal conversations were friendly.

We had a reservation for them and when we got there they sold our room! However they still charged our credit card! We had rebook our rooms in another hotel and all this after a 11hr flight and a 3 hr drive

We couldn’t have been more delighted. Everyone at Villa Lara made our stay so special - they truly wanted everything to be perfect for their guests. We arrived quite late, and Luigi waited up for us, carried our bags up the steps, and pointed out all of the amenities for our stay. Names escape me, but the staff had a delicious breakfast and cappuccinos waiting for us each morning. We felt like part of their family. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. We are very active people, so we did the 200+ stair climb a few times to get to our room from the street. We also sat outside one evening and shared a bottle of wine out on the terrace. We highly recommend Villa Lara - they will make your vacation unforgettable.

Exceptional service! Located near main town, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Would stay again!

Wonderful property, excellent location and wonderful views from the room and at breakfast. Staff are really friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel the Amalfi magic and hospitality.

Quiet area, just away from all the fuss. Walking distance to restaurants and the beach.

My husband and I decided to travel last minute from Ischia to Amalfi, and we were so lucky to be greeted by Martina and the team upon arrival. even upgraded us for free which was a nice surprise on a rainy Amalfi day. The room was bright, clean, nice and airy with a little skylight on our rooftop. Breakfast was simple with a selection of pastries, yoghurt and scrambled eggs and ham/cheese platter available on request, but ample and absolutely stunning from the Terrace. The team also helped with directions when needed and even helped us get to our kayaking destination. Big shout out to Luigi as well as he was always there to say good night. One of the best places we could have booked on our honeymoon!

the staff was amazing! beautiful terrace view, amazing breakfast, helpful and knowledgeable hosts, everything was wonderful! I would definitely stay here again if/when I come back to Amalfi.
