維爾納依酒店 - 巴黎

We were aiming for a nice relaxing weekend where we would be spending a fair amount of time in the hotel so we booked a hotel that advertises a bar and had what looked like decent sized rooms. Our room had just enough room for a double bed and a dressing table. There was not enough room for both of us to be off the bed at the same time. The "bar" is a drinks tray in the corner of the "lounge". If you want a drink you have to go to reception and ask them. When we asked for a coffee we were told "there is coffee in your room" (there was but there was not enough milk and all that was there was two Nespresso capsules). We said that we wanted a coffee in the lounge and the receptionist/night porter huffed and told us that would mean him having to lock up as the coffee machine was downstairs.

Not the way I remembered it from the last stay. Definitely gone downhill.

Had a brilliant time here! Yes rooms are small but the bed is sooo comfortable and really nicely presented and l’occitane toiletries are a really nice touch! They even left a bottle of champagne for us as it was my husbands birthday with a special note! So lovely! They do charge a room tax at the end of the stay which we were not expecting but it is only €5 so no big deal. Great location and not too far from metro so no need for a very expensive taxi service!

Great location, small rooms, poor cleaning and messy hallways. Also on the Sunday (clearly turnover day) the lift was out of order and the hallways were strewn with cleaning trolleys blocking the hallways and staircases. Was quite frankly, dangerous.

Our third visit to Verneuil - it has been freshened up and is more lovely than ever. Great locatipn - quiet, convenient for walking etc. Very accomodating staff. And we love the breakfast room !
