Quick stay
The service was very good with very pleasant staff members but the room we stayed at was dated and dark with not much walking space unlike the web page picture we saw.

Not so good. The air conditioning was not working in temperature of 32 degree. What was being told, was that, that it is supposed to work from 15th of June. i don't think that there is a meeting of management to decide on the date of working of air conditioners in hotel. When brought to the notice of staff at reception, they changed the room saying that they are shifting to air conditioned room but it was a lie. The a.c was not working in other room also. Later, after a day, we came to know that ac was working in some other rooms but not in all. What was there reason for decisions of giving some people non ac room when they have paid full amount beforehand, is best known to staff there. A person excepts to have a good sleep at night after visiting tourist places entire day and getting tired but because of the heat and stuffiness in room, we were not able to sleep much. Better to avoid this hotel, if you want to be have a good sleep at night.

DO NOT STAY HERE!
Booked 3 nights & end up leaving after 2nd night. My friend was in Rome as well, he stayed nearby & wanted to catch up. I told him to come by hang out and have some drinks. When he arrived, we walked upstairs & the man asked where we going. He said; your friend cannot go in your room. I said he was visiting & will leave soon. The man refused and said if I’m not happy, talk to manager in morning. Next morning I went to front desk. Told her the situation, she said she is aware & said no one is allowed in rooms, not even visitors, & no matter what time of day, it’s their policy. I’ve traveled around the world & stayed in multiple hotels, I never heard of such a ridiculous policy. She said if I wanted visitors, I need to book a double room, even if they visiting for few minutes. That was the dumbest thing I have ever heard! She said that’s the rule in Italy, which is a complete lie! I was outraged by the poor service and lies, I told them I want to cancel my last night there. She said I could cancel but won’t get refund for remaining night because booking is nonrefundable. I decided to pack my stuff & checked out. The lady checked me out with attitude, and no apology. My credit card gave me refund & I booked another hotel who had no problems with me bringing guest. Obviously Italy does not have that stupid rule they made up! So disgusted with their service & the fact that they lied to my face was just wrong. Will never stay here again, nor will my friends & family. SCUM BAGS!

Moved to the Hotel Madison. Both Hotels Nice
actually, we stayed at the Hotel Madison, a hotel owned by the same company because there was a problem with water. So the good news is that by booking at either hotel, you are assured of a room. Hotel Madison is right acrooss the street from the railroad station (Termini). Staff is very nice at both hotels
