So I’ll start by saying, I personally didn’t stay at the hotel, but I communicate with them a few times and they we’re great.
A friend of mine was visiting family on the island and ran into a mess of complications getting home. Lost everything but her passport the morning she was supposed to depart and ended up missing her flight out that day. There was nothing available later so she was stuck until the next day. She had zero funds, no CC’s, and no phone for Apple Pay. I blindly booked the room on H.com and ordered an Uber for her from the airport.
As you know checking in without an ID and CC is tough in most hotels. But the staff went above and beyond to work with us on getting her checked in after a tremendously stressful day.
Her take on the hotel was the staff was obviously spectacular, but the locations and comfort were great too. The beach was across the street and with 30+ hours to kill she spent the afternoon and next morning relaxing as best she could in the sun.
I look forward to spending time there in the future myself, but will never forget how above and beyond the staff went to help out a friend in distress!
