The resort was recently renovated, so most installations look new and modern, the decor is top of the line. The food was above average compared to similar resorts. The alcohol drinks however were not top of the line, but not bad either. The beach is beautiful as you would expect, the pool area also very nice, and there are plenty of space, wild animals to see, and a manglar in the middle of the property, the hotel area is larger than most hotels.

The hotel was purely amazing , the food was good , but what I love the most was the staff they treat us very well . I have to mention a few people Melvin room service , Nicolas a gentleman that worked at the garden , Santiva was excellent at the platinum restaurant this gentleman is definitely a great asset for the hotel , he went above and beyond for us he is simply the best we love him . I ll definitely stay at Grand Bavaro princess again thank you .

We were unaware when we booked that our first day would be the resorts first day back in service in 8 months. We took that into consideration with this review. The resort mainly had fans around the property but only one of them was ever on. The room we were assigned was not the room we chose had a broken air and refrigerator. We were placed on the top floor with no elevator and no one else in the entire resort at that time. We reported the ac 3 times throughout the day and then was advised the ac works from our armbands and if we wanted ac to stay in our room. The service manager continued to argue with us and was very nasty. We fought for the whole day to get a new room. When we did, it was not COVID prepared and had a broken toilet seat. Bugs were consistently found throughout our stay in various areas of the room. Dirty blankets were placed on the bed, and for a period of time a pair of our shoes went missing until we made multiple reports and then they mysteriously reappeared. The very worst part is having to walk literally a mile every time we wanted to go to the front desk or entertainment. Trucks, mopeds, trams, and bikes went up and down the sidewalk constantly running us off the walkway. Whenever we asked for a ride we were told no. Every time we called the front desk, room service for ice, or bell boys no one would every answer. The food was horrible. I would add more but no space left. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The staff was extremely helpful and nice! The restaurants are exceptional and offer great variety in meal choices. The entire resort was clean and presentable. The only downside was our shower took an extremely long time to drain. Our bathroom would basically flood if we took a shower longer than 3 or 4 minutes. l will definitely return for another stay!
We booked our rooms with a full description of all inclusive including room service. They refused the room service unless we paid an additional fee of $750 each for 2 people in one room. All we did was fight with these liars. Then they wanted us to sign a complaint against Orbitz but we refused

The hotel is newly renovated. Nice, clean rooms with spacious bathrooms. Cleaning stuff is excellent, food and beverage service is good, stuff at the front desk needs better training, entertaining needs major improvment
