My wife and I stayed in a 1br/1ba cabin (#26) we only stayed for two nights, we will be back again, but will plan a longer trip for as far as we traveled. The cabin was comfortable and cozy, back looked into woods front looked towards the mountains and the sunset. Our cabin did not have a hot tub or outdoor heater, but did have a large deck and screened room off to the side with grill. Full kitchen including coffee maker in cabin. We did not eat at the flying trout restaurant at the lodge, but would have if we were staying longer, very convenient. Loved the atmosphere and the location relative to nature trails, scenic routes and the small town destinations of Blairsville and Blue Ridge and even Dawsonville and McCaysville will be on our itinerary for next time.

Yes, the property was very welcoming to pets. The kitchen in our cabin was amazing and we loved the deck with ping pong and corn hole along with several seating areas. This was a last minute stay that we only found due to hotels.com so we didn't know how far it would be... we'll be back!

This was a beautiful place but the staff accused us of taking things we did not take without even asking questions only accusing many hours after gone, that was extremely upsetting. I would not suggest staying here at all!

We absolutely love this place! Staff is so friendly, they have live entertainment on weekends, the food is fabulous, and the units are so clean and comfortable. We plan on returning very soon! I would highly recommend!

Cute little cabin. We stayed in cabin 2. Went to the Lodge for dinner Friday. Menu is not very wide, but what we ate was good, especially the bread pudding! I would definitely go back.

Staff was busy but still kind and hospitable. The restaurant is attached to the motel; The food smelled delicious and the music was wonderful. Although we did not have reservations for the restaurant , they still made room for us (probably only because we reserved a room) which my husband and I were grateful for. Would absolutely recommend visiting the restaurant and/or staying in one of their rooms overnight. The room was very clean; There was a mini-fridge and a keurig coffee machine with coffee and such in the room which was not mentioned in the listing but was a very pleasant surprise. We plan to return for another get away soon.

The staffing was excellent. We would recommend however that the bath towels were bigger. We also were not provided a bath mat. The bathroom had a design that didn’t have a door to the shower and only has a very small glass panel. The result was that the water splashed on the bathroom floor and we felt unsafe with no bathmat. The floor was slippery due to no door to close when showering. There was also only one small soap provided. We used the soap for both hand washing at the sink and in the shower since there was one soap for both purposes. I don’t know if is was error or not, but we had two complimentary shampoos, but no conditioner. The room heater was not working upon arrival and we notified the office a repair was sent almost immediately. It took a half hour or so but the repair was completed and we were able to heat our room. We appreciated the prompt response and repair.
