It would be nice to be able to rent the larger 4br townhomes with private parking at the Riverfront property. Can those be booked directly through the Westin??

This is a gorgeous hotel and the rooms are just great. Appreciated the almost full kitchen very much. Now - we booked on hotels.com at a $219 rate. We get to the hotel and are informed it is $35 per night to park. Not happy. And the parking garage is a complete cluster with lousy signage and us having to navigate it in an F150. When we check out we find out there is ALSO a Resort Service Fee of $35 per night. I've been slapped with those before and never understood what I have paid for. So... hotels.com should list this at its actual per night room charge of $289 and the hotel itself should be ashamed for it's bait and switch pricing.

While Westin's name is on the property, the reality is these are individually owned units "managed" by Westin. We shared with the front desk that our bed was likely past its "heavenly" date. It was somewhat lumpy and held the valleys from the weight of guests sleeping in it. I asked if they could change it out or perhaps even just flip it. The receptionist shared with us that they couldn't do anything except notify the owner of the unit. I said that Westin's name is on the property so could they at least have someone confirm that the bed met Westin's standards for heavenly beds? No dice. Party line: your comments will be shared with the owner. As for the pillows, you'll be happy if you like them soft. If you prefer firm, bring your own. We tried 8 different pillows...all soft to medium soft. Net, we had the worst 3 nights of sleep. The other negatives: punitive parking fees of $35/night (what are the options?), and then a $35/night resort fee. So, be sure to add $70 PLUS tax per night to whatever room rate you are considering. The positives: the property itself is beautiful and the location is great.
