A night in a thatched hotel
The hotel is old style and will probably appeal more to the older generation. That certainly is not a complaint as I enjoyed the excellent restaurant and residents lounge. The room was clean and big enough to work as well as relax.

Has Character.
A nice change from the usual style of hotel chains. Staff were friendly and helpful and hotel was very clean. Rooms were a little old fashioned but went with the style of the hotel and beds were comfortable. Snacks and drinks were available to buy in your room. The breakfast facilities were excellent. We had a meal in the restaurant on one evening and it was delicious although not particularly cheap. The pool and sauna were great. The hotel is situated a few miles out of the town so there is nothing in the immediate area but we had hired a car and travelled to Fredericia where there is some lovely bars, restaurants and places of interest. The only negative was that as we are British we love our cup if tea and it seems Denmark doesn't have it- take your own tea bags!
