The views from the rooftop pool are absolutely incredible! Hotel has a nice, vintage appeal, and the rooms are spacious and well maintained for the price. Location is walkable or a short taxi ride to local shops and places to dine.
However, it was a bit disappointing that neither the Wine Cellar or Cave bar appeared to be available to peruse. Also, I had booked and messaged the hotel early on to grant and confirm with us two rooms with two double beds, and we were given two rooms with king beds, with no advance notice of the change.
Though the staff were kind & friendly, there was room for improvement on their customer service/communication (We spoke Spanish, so it wasn't due to a language barrier). One of our rooms had to be relocated due to the AC blown out, and we requested to have the original room fixed so my guests could move back so that we could remain adjacent, but there was never a follow up, despite telling us that they'd let us know when it was clear to move back into, so they just stayed in the room. Also, there was some back and forth on the actual cost of the shuttle service, in which we had to remind upon check out that we still needed to pay, and then tried to charge us more than what was quoted through messaging with them in advance; and we had to provide screenshots to prove that we were quoted a lesser charge.
Overall, I would still certainly choose to stay there again, while being mindful of the laxed work environment of the staff.
