I like the prepackaged breakfast bags that were prepared as the breakfast bar was closed due to COVID. My negative was no hot water for the bath/shower on our first stay December 19th and again on December 26, 2020. It was lukewarm at best.

There was a renovation going on in the lobby, but with Covid we did not expect to see the bar/restaurant open anyway. We were not impacted at all, and the stay was quiet and peaceful.

I booked this room visiting from California to have a girl’s night with my bestfriend who lives in Memphis as a treat post-mastectomy surgery and accompanied by her 5yr old daughter. 1st off the night started with uncleaned sheets. The sheets had 2 types of hairs in both of the beds. And visible dust on the lamps and head boards. I wiped everything down. 9am the next morning we where awaken to no water due to construction. Called down to the concierge and they did not apologize however, said they did not know that the water was cut off and assured it would be turned on within the hour. Well, 4 hours later I am requesting for a late check out and still no water. Could not shower, no flush the toilet and no washing hands nor brushing teeth. Luckily due to COVID, I now carry sanitary wipes everywhere I go. No accommodations were offered, like water. Upon my exit to turn keys in I asked to speak with management, they also said they didn't know about the construction workers planning to shut off the water. I then asked if they had planned on making any announcements for the occupants... To make matter worse, a young man was checking in, overhearing my conversation and asked me if it were true that the water was turned off. The lady checking him in said water was fine in front of us and there's no problem. Knowing about my concerns. I love the Courtyard Marriott, my 1st choice of hotels, but this is my first time ever having to sleep and checkout unsanitary.

Everything was fine except for plumbing issue. Shower handle was broken and could not turn the water off or on easily.

I really enjoyed having the couch and leg stool it was comfortable did not have to sit on bed until I was ready to go to sleep. The room was clean and neat I really really liked that. There really is nothing bad I can say about the room or my stay. I certainly would stay there again if the price is right.
