Overall my stay was good. As with any hotel, the air conditioner would shut off before the entire room was cooled. I'd set the thermostat for 65 but come back to it set @ 72.

Very disappointing!
Room wasn’t finished cleaning, sheets towels toilet paper and bedding had not been finished. Several hardware pieces were broken in the room. Very disappointing!

Traveled to Temple for a softball tournament. Majority of the team stayed at the Residence Inn. Staff was friendly, rooms were spacious and clean. Will definitely be my go to hotel for future tournaments in the Temple area.

When we arrived, the front desk associate was in the lobby, not wearing a mask. When she saw us come in, she did go behind the desk and put her mask on, but we felt like we were inconveniencing her. She was rude. As we came in and out of the lobby throughout the evening, she wouldn’t even lift her head to acknowledge us, much less greet us. The next morning, the front desk associate was very hospitable and professional. A stark contrast from what we experience the night before. I was shocked that the Marriott would allow this from their employees.

The property is old and could be updated. Having said that, the suite was nice at a good price. We had an issue with the sink. We stayed there for four nights. After the first night (Friday) we let the front desk know that the bathroom sink was clogged, and we were told that no one would be available to take care of this until Monday. We expected that this would be done on Monday, but unfortunately, this was never taken care of. When we left on Tuesday morning, we mentioned this to the front desk. They apologized and gave us some Bonvoy points. We would rather have got the sink fixed.

I always enjoy my stays at the Residence Inn in Temple, Texas. Front desk is helpful and friendly. Relaxing, comfortable stay. And in my favorite room!
