What happens when the Yellow Brick Road leads to Alice’s Wonderland? You arrive at Naomi’s B & B for a magical stay. I was in the Berkshires to look at leaves and found Naomi’s to be a perfect stop-over. Hand-painted murals and curious objects are everywhere. The rooms are quirky, clean, and comfortable. I stayed in the Orient bedroom and had the company of a Buddha and some lovely Asian furniture. Marci, the innkeeper, made me a lovely Breakfast even though I got to the dining room after she had officially finished serving. My conversation with her was a highlight of my trip. Her place is right across from the hospital, and what a warming, caring, and calming plate to stay if one was caring for someone in that hospital. She suggested the Munich Huis down the street for dinner, and that was perfect. I’m returning to Springfield just so I can stay at Naomi’s!
