Beautiful Views and Even Better Hospitality

I had a very pleasant stay at South Gap Hotel and would highly recommend it. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning ocean view. The pool and pool deck had a really cool vibe—perfect for relaxing. The only downside was the slow service at the restaurant. However, that was easily overlooked thanks to Tia at the front desk. Her customer service was exceptional—she was friendly, helpful, and an absolute joy to talk to. She truly made the experience memorable. Overall, it was a great stay, and I can definitely see myself coming back.

Ideal pour profiter de St. Lawrence Gap

Séjour agréable pour bien manger et boire sur St. Lawrence Gap. Possibilité de se garer à l'hotel. Bien desservie par les véhicules de transport en commun qui longe la rue. Chaque matin, au petit déjeuné, nous regardions les tortues venir respirer de temps à autre. Pebbles Beach pour nager avec les tortues. Drill Hall Beach était très belle aussi. On peu aussi aller se tremper les pied 200m avant l'hotel. La piscine est très agréable. Oistins est pas très loin.

The reviews are true!

When you only have reviews to go on sometimes you have to take a chance with the hotel. You never really know until you get there whether you made the right choice. When we were pulling into St. Lawrence gap, we realized it was in the area where the bars and entertainment were. We pulled up to the hotel and were pleased with our initial impression. When we got inside, we met the front desk staff. The morning and afternoon people appear to rotate their shifts. We had a lot of interaction with both of them. they are both phenomenal! They always had a smile on their face and were very helpful with everything including finding a great island tour. We then went to our room and were very happy with the room and the view. The pool deck outside and the view were terrific. We were right up against the water, however there is no beach attached. If you wanted Dover beach, you just had to walk down the block about three minutes. We normally like the beach, but we actually wound up spending a lot of time on the hotel deck and enjoying the waves and the pool. I was concerned that the music from the bars and restaurants might be a problem with sleeping, but with the air conditioning on, we essentially did not hear it at all. You could hear it a little when you were in the front of the room near the bathroom, but not back in the sleeping area. so that should not be a concern at all. We were very happy at the South Gap hotel and would highly recommend it!

Great location in the St Lawrence Gap. Hôtel is in great condition, we loved the view. Beach is just 5-10 min walk. Just a small complain on a weird smell from the bathroom piping, it might have been a room issue. Happy with the stay.

Fantastic South Gap

Had a fantastic stay. Stunning hotel, beautiful room with incredible ocean view. All staff were amazing. Stayed knowing that pool deck and restaurant were closed for complete renovation following hurricane Beryl so obviously didn’t experience what will be an incredible space (we were fairly compensated for this). Great progress was being made during our stay. Again, the staff were extremely helpful in view of alternative arrangements. Returned home yesterday and already looking to rebook. Thank you South Gap Hotel 😊

The view at South Gap Hotel was probably my favorite feature. The balcony provided a private view of the ocean. This hotel seemed like the only place that served authentic Bajan food at the Gap which is what I like to experience when I travel abroad. All of the staff were so hospitable. I can’t wait to come back.

This was a gem of a place to stay for relaxation and privacy. The area was a bit noisy on the weekend but the convenient location and relaxing atmosphere on the deck made up for the noise in the Gap.
